I forgot I had this little gem. It's a mini manual powered chain stitch machine. You just clamp the top down and it'll chainstitch for you. It's really tiny, say 3 inches and it takes real machine needles. I forgot the brand name of it. I bought it at an estate sale with some vintage sewing notions, didn't even know it was in the box until I got home. Here it is sitting on the base of my brother machine. It even takes sewing machine needles in it.

Vintage sheet makeup bag
I've been eyeing the beautiful box bags/ dopp kits, what have you, on flickr and decided it was high time that I tried one out. I was in desperate need of a new makeup bag anyway. It's made from this wonderful, ultra-vibrant sheet I found at a Salvation Army for dirt cheap (yay!). I don't think it's bad for my first attempt (and not following directions properly lol!).

Embroidering labels
As I'm preparing merchandise for my new etsy shop, I noticed that I need to create labels! So I did with my embroidery machine. It's just my simple logo on bright twill tape. I love my embroidery machine. Customized, cost-effective labels = bliss!
